| ORACLE Notations for Daedalus Authorized Personnel Only: Repo Man, Skylar's nickname on the streets of New York, started as a car thief and head of a professional car jacking ring. When he was nearly killed in a gang attack, he was arrested and entered into the prison system. He had a limited life expectancy, because of vehicle shrapnel lodged near his upper neck, near the base of his brain stem. After learning of a unique combination of genetic markers from his DNA profiling, Omnatech offered to clear his record if he would submit to Q-implantation. For Skylar, it was a no-brainer -- a chance to clear his record, get out of jail, and oh yes, maybe even live another year. His powers adapted to the metapsychic fixation Skylar had for vehicles -- allowing him to take on the form of one of two different vehicles in times of stress. Omnatech once managed to induce him to change into a jet, but after crashing on his first flight, he developed a profound acrophobia, hence limiting his capabilities on a military environment. He was, however, the sort of New York personality that would do well on Team Big Apple. Additionally, if he does not consume a special supercoolant periodically, hisbody goes through unrestrained transformation thrashing that internally damages him and could likely kill him. | |
