| BINAJ Notations for Daedalus Authorized Personnel Only: Captain Bartwick Bannister was a member of an advanced SAS combat force, but was discharged after attacking a superior officer when he was denied the chance to complete a mission. He became a mercenary and was captured by the Guardians. In prison, he was blinded with acid and tortured but he kept his resolved. He remained for years in Snezhinka, where he made contacts and allies, using his skills to create weapons and make allies within the brahtvas. He managed to bargain his way out of prison and in spite of his lack of vision, managed to find his way out of Russia. He resumed his work as an arms dealer and designer, until he discovered a chance to buy some black market Q-implants. Hiring experts, he crafted a team of Quasars who began as an annoyance throughout Australia, Africa, and the Middle East, but have since become more troublesome. Doubledown is a dangerous man who started off as a mercenary and uses his powers to ruthless efficiency. He pairs well with Solitaire, and despite their opposing natures, they team well together -- likely because of their complementary personalities. Doubledown is the hitter of the Stacked Deck and takes his responsibilities quite seriously. | |
