| ORACLE Notations for Daedalus Authorized Personnel Only: Blue Manta is one of the few ocean-based heroes. He is older, having been developed shortly after Team Liberty as an expert in naval encounters and hazards. However, he immediately had conflicts with Agent Exemplar and Neostar, who saw his powers are redundant and useless. After a period away from Team Liberty, he chose to join Team LA, but clashed with almost every member on strategy and style. He quit Team LA and after a tense standoff with the US Government and AEGIS about his sponsorship as a US hero, he agreed to be sponsored by the US but acting under his own volition. He spends most of his time at sea, helping those who find themselves in danger or hunting those who abuse the oceans. The US views him as a naval free operative in the Pacific, while other nations see him as a lone vigilante. In LA, he has gained recent popularity as a retro-hero and a noble protector of the oceans. | |
