In October 2021, d In the late morning of October 12, 2021, an Ace calling herself Lunotar attacked the Willis Tower, taking a few dozen hostages on the top floors. After unsuccesful negotiations, Lunotar attacked the hostages and was defeated thanks to the timely efforts of Agent Exemplar. Daedalus Operatives were on hand, helping to secure the upper levels of the Tower and providing support to victims and local law enforcement as needed.

Daedaelus Foundation donated several million to restoring the Willis Tower, a long-time fixture in the hearts of Chicagoans and the skyline of Chicago, as quickly as possible. With the aid of Daedalus Foundation technologies, the reconstruction was completely and Willis Tower was actually opened for Thanksgiving of that same year. Later investigations revealed it was only through nearby monitoring of Q-field activity that Lunotar's actions were recognized so early and a timely response could be mounted.
